Hmm, I don't get it to scons ...
If I run normal dpkg-buildpackage I get You need '['Python.h',
'mx/mxDateTime.h']' to compile this program
So I run the scons by hand without the -Q and got in addition:
Checking for pkg-config... (cached) yes
Checking for gtk+-2.0 >= 2.4.0... (cached) yes
Checking for glib-2.0 >= 2.4.0... (cached) yes
Checking for pygtk-2.0 >= 2.4.0... (cached) yes
Checking for C header file mx/mxDateTime.h... no
Then I added definitions for
python_includes=/usr/include/python2.4
mx_datetime_includes=/usr/include/python2.4/mx
ie
scons debug=1 prefix=/usr python_includes=/usr/include/python2.4
mx_datetime_includes=/usr/include/python2.4/mx pisock_library=/usr/lib
pisock_includes=/usr/include jppyroot=`pwd`/debian/jppy
jpilotroot=`pwd`/debian/jppy-jpilot-plugins
still without success. The config.log file is quite funny:
scons: Configure: Checking for C header file mx/mxDateTime.h...
scons: Configure: ".sconf_temp/conftest_4.c" is up to date.
scons: Configure: The original builder output was:
|.sconf_temp/conftest_4.c <-
| |#include <Python.h>
| |
| |#include <mx/mxDateTime.h>
| |
| |
|
gcc -o .sconf_temp/conftest_4.o -c -g
-DPYTHON_SHARED_LIB=\"libpython2.4.so\" -I
/usr/include/python2.4/mx -I/usr/include -I/usr/include/python2.4
-Ilibversit_sr
c .sconf_temp/conftest_4.c
gcc: .sconf_temp/conftest_4.c: No such file or directory
gcc: no input files
scons: Configure: no
So it seems that the conftest_4.c is not created ...
Do you have ANY idea what this could be???
Best wishes
Norbert
